I started my journey to a career in technology in January of 2019 and since then I have been learning, growing and teaching in my hometown of Memphis, TN. I learned the fundamentals of development as a student in the second cohort of CodeCrew Code School from January to July of 2019. From there I served as a teaching assistant for the third cohort for a month before accepting an internship at International Paper headquarters as a full stack web developer from September 2019 to December 2019. I am currently an instructor for the fifth cohort of CodeCrew Code School and actively seeking opportunities to learn as I teach. I have a strong interest in front end web design and a passion for problem solving. I am also an active member of some of the tech groups in Memphis. I have served as a member of the Code Connector leadership board since February 2020. I regularly attend events hosted by Memphis Web Workers and Google Developers Group Memphis. I've also had the privilege to participate in Give Camp Memphis and the Memphis Civic Data Hackathon.
